We keep our hunting guests minimal with only 3 cabins open in hunting season, so there are no more than 3 hunting parties in camp at one time.

We prefer to limit the number of our guests with no more than six non-resident and six resident hunters in camp at any one time. Exceptions may apply to a non-resident party with more than six hunters.

Our cabins and facilities are available to resident hunters for their own self-guided hunts. We recommend booking early.

The area has produced 70% success rate for weekly plan Whitetail buck guided hunts. The larger buck’s in our area will average a 130 -170 score and dress out in the 200-250 lb range.

In 2007 our weekly guided hunts had a 73% success rate.

Here is what some of our hunters had to say:

Hi Terry and Monica, just wanted to tell both of you what a great time we had
at your place last week. I can't remember when I have had a better vacation
and hunting experience. I shot the biggest Deer that I have ever shot in 35
yrs. of hunting. I will never forget the time we had tracking him and would
not have gotten him if it had not been for Terry's tracking skills. Both of you
and your guides made it a very enjoyable time and I can not thank you enough
for your hospitality. It was said up there and I agree, we came as customers
and left as friends. God bless both of you and keep in touch.
Ray Cantrell
(customer and friend)

I never worked so hard to get a deer. I was depressed when I missed the monster. Waiting till the last day…last minute was nothing more than a miracle!
Monica was so great when I was sick. Her cooking was excellent. Terry made everything worthwhile.
The whole hunt was the same as hunting with friends and family. Thank you for a great time, your luckiest hunter.
Ken Louchart

Hello Terry and Monica
I just wanted to send you a little note to thank both of you for the
wonderful time I had Deer Hunting at Little Moose Lodge. I loved the rustic cabin
and main lodge. Monica did a great job keeping us all fed and happy.
Terry, you and your guides were great at placing all the hunters in
locations where we were able to see deer and get a clean shot at some fine animals.
The nine point that I shot is the largest Deer I have ever harvested and
will be mounted and placed in my up north Michigan home. I can say that four
of the five hunters in our group shot the biggest deer they have ever got.
Hope to make it back there again next season.
Thanks Again
Tom Ellis

I had a wonderful time, even if I didn’t get a deer. I got to see some of the most beautiful land ever.
I truly enjoyed every minute.
The hospitality was incredible; I will remember this trip forever.
Every person here was the nicest and made me feel like family.
I will be back. Good Luck.

I had a great hunt. Shot a big 10 point. I can’t say enough good things about our hosts ‘Terry and Monica’. The food was great. I came as a guest, and left as “CARGO”.
I’ve found some new friends. I’ll be back!!
